Investment Advisory
Our core belief is that financial markets are “efficient,” meaning prices reflect the knowledge and expectations of all investors. As a result, investment returns are determined principally by asset allocation - not stock picking or market timing. Lutz Financial’s approach to investing differs from most investment advisors who seek to actively select investments or time the market. Instead, you benefit from academic research, which is part of determining your investment strategy. Lutz Financial distinguishes itself by applying this philosophy to its entire range of investments.
In designing your portfolio, we tailor allocations of passively managed mutual funds and tax-efficient Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's) from a variety of investment companies including Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), Vanguard and Barclays. The DFA family of no-load funds is not available directly to individuals, but is limited to institutional investors and a select group of advisors.
Our mission is to create and maintain individual portfolios of low-risk, low-cost, tax-efficient securities that help clients achieve their unique financial goals.
